• Programme

    The Congress will aim to provide participants with a general overview of the European Green Deal, including the Farm to Fork strategy and its possible impact on food law. It will start with a keynote speech by Ms Annelise Fenger, the Deputy Director General of the Danish Food and Veterinary Administration (DVFA). This will be followed by the introductory address on the Farm to Fork strategy and its impact on food law by Ms Alexandra Nikolakopoulou from DG SANTE of the European Commission.

    The Congress will be divided into three sessions running from 9:30AM to 2:30PM CEST on 30th September and from 9AM to 12:30PM CEST on 1st October.

    The first session, entitled Sustainable food production & food innovation, will be chaired by Dr Andreas Natterer, Partner at Schoenherr. Our second session will be dedicated to the Legal analysis of current dilemmas for sustainable food production and will be chaired by Prof. Andreas Meisterernst, Partner at Meisterernst Rechtsanwälte. The final, third session will be chaired by Mr Martin Dræbye Gantzhorn, Partner at Bech-Bruun and will focus on legal implications for the marketing of sustainable food.

    The Congress fees amount to 396 € (incl. 21% VAT) for Members, 497 € (incl. 21% VAT) for Non-members and 216 € (incl. 21% VAT) for Students, authorities and retired members.
